About YPG
"To Know His Will And To Do It"
Founded in 1938
The Young People's Guild (YPG) was founded in 1938 by Andrews McCutheon Atkinson, a missionary of the Basel Mission who recognized the need to engage and nurture the youth of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
From its humble beginnings, the YPG has grown into one of the most vibrant and influential youth organizations within the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Over the decades, the Guild has been instrumental in shaping young leaders who have gone on to serve the Church, communities, and the nation at large.
The Guild operates across all presbyteries and congregations of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, providing a platform for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 to grow in faith, develop leadership skills, and serve their communities.
